As a self-confessed (fussy) English "foodie" this Blog's full with random thoughts about the various places and restaurants etc that we visit - mainly in the UK but we do get around a bit! I'm also always coming across useful foodie web sites which I have to post somewhere!

Being a 'poor' student, the last time I went to a restaurant was in Rome in the summer. Italy were playing the USA and there were three red cards! A little tense especially for the American diners! The food (and wine) was superb. I hope you are getting a cut for all of this advertising - or at least a free meal!
A free meal would be nice! I wish! Never been to Rome - but had a wonderful holiday in Sorrento this year. I've posted a bit about it on my old warwick blog (link on right) if you're interested. I hope to go to Rome - at least for a weekend - sometime next year...
